This fine Kataba achieves its best performance as a general carpentry saw. But this traditional Japanese saw can also please as a hobby and fine saw. Especially for furniture making and fine woodwork, this Kataba is appreciated for its smooth and clean sawing result.
The hardened saw blades have induction hardened and polished, three-sided ground teeth from 68 to 71 HRC. This guarantees a very long service life.
Comes with a plastic teethguard.
