This copying compass from Shinwa has been specially developed for use in log house construction. Here it is important that the logs are correctly aligned with each other, and scribing the corner joints is essential for this.

In addition, this copying compass can not only be used for log house construction, but is also ideal for transferring any profile to a new piece of wood.

Use the copying compass by holding the integrated double spirit level horizontally before marking out the profile.

The pencil supplied is a special graphite pencil (item 77597) which is black and erasable in normal use. However, as soon as the line comes into contact with water, it turns blue and is no longer erasable.
