Kataba-saws are strong carpenter's saws. The Proton Power Saw Ibarame from Gyokucho has a general toothing of 14 TPI. It delivers clean cuts in a variety of applications. Use this efficient Kataba Japanese saw when cutting beams to length and mitre cuts. The robust saw blade cuts effortlessly and is ideal for carpenters and cabinet makers.

This Kataba has a short back reinforcement that provides even more control when cutting.

The wooden handle is wrapped in rattan in the traditional style and the saw blade is very easy to replace.

The teeth of this Japanese saw are hardened to a surface hardness of 68 to 71 HRC. This makes the teeth hard and durable on the outside. This is important for the characteristic high-quality cutting properties.
