Japanese plane Gisuke 42 mm

Use the Japanese Gisuke to plane wood to wafer-thin thicknesses or to plane your workpiece precisely to size. Adjusting the plane before use requires some precision and patience, but the result you will achieve is incomparable. Japanese block planes require maintenance, as changing circumstances such as humidity and temperature fluctuations can affect the planer sole. You should therefore regularly check whether the soleplate is still sufficiently flat and, if necessary, rework it with sandpaper or a scraper.

You can sharpen the plane iron, use the sharpening stones 1000 and 3000 for this.
