Star-M No.4L Extra long auger bit

Use these extra-long auger bits from Star-M to drill simultaneously through multiple beams up to 400 mm. The design of this drill bit allows for efficient evacuation of chips and other drilling waste during use. Thanks to the open spiral, the drill bits are also less susceptible to overheating. This makes it possible to drill deeper and longer than with a conventional drill bit.

As these drill bits from Star-M are made from high-quality carbon steel, they can be used in all types of softwood and European hardwood such as ash, beech and oak. This makes the auger bits ideal for professional and even industrial use.

The cutting edge is designed with the highest precision and sharpened like a chisel that rotates around the tip of the wire. As a result, these auger bits remove the wood cleanly layer by layer. In addition, the sharpened and burr-free tip pulls the drill bit into the wood, so that practically no pressure is required and particularly precise positioning is possible.

These auger bits are suitable for use with an electric drill. Use a maximum speed of 3,000 rpm for drill bits with a diameter of up to 18 mm. Drill bits with a diameter of more than 18 mm are suitable for a maximum speed of 1,500 rpm.
